This position involves overseeing comprehensive accounting operations and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. As this is a long-term contract role, the ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and expertise in managing full-cycle accounting processes. Responsibilities: • Supervise and execute full-cycle accounting operations to ensure accurate financial records. • Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with relevant regulations. • Manage payroll processes in collaboration with HR for bi-weekly cycles. • Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions to maintain cash flow. • Utilize QuickBooks Online for efficient accounting and reporting. • Coordinate month-end closing activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks. • Support entry level accounting staff by providing guidance and oversight. • Maintain data integrity and accuracy within financial systems. • Handle bill payments through designated portals and ensure proper documentation. • Collaborate with internal teams to address accounting needs and streamline processes.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online with a proven track record of usage. • Solid experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements. • Expertise in managing payroll processes, including multi-state payroll systems. • Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable operations. • Hands-on experience with month-end closing procedures. • Comprehensive understanding of full-cycle accounting practices. • Ability to support and mentor entry-level staff members in accounting functions. • Excellent organizational and communication skills to work effectively within a team.
