Benefits Analyst
We are looking for an experienced Benefits Analyst to join a Telecom Services organization in Bothell, Washington on a Contract basis. This position is suited for someone who can combine benefits administration expertise with strong analytical support in a fast-moving environment. The role will contribute to daily operations, reporting accuracy, and process enhancements while working closely with internal partners and external providers.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Generate, review, and maintain benefits data and reporting within Workday to support accurate administration and decision-making.<br>• Oversee self-billing activities, ensuring timely processing and consistent documentation across benefit programs.<br>• Examine carrier invoices, research variances, and resolve billing issues through detailed reconciliation work.<br>• Coordinate payment setup and ongoing payment administration related to benefits programs and associated vendors.<br>• Perform eligibility reviews and compliance-focused audits to help maintain accurate enrollments and policy adherence.<br>• Address employee questions related to benefits and respond to system-generated tickets with clear, timely follow-up.<br>• Assist with benefit plan configuration updates in Workday and help implement improvements to operational workflows.<br>• Partner with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to support ongoing administration and broader benefits initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience in benefits administration with a strong understanding of day-to-day program support.<br>• Practical hands-on knowledge of Workday, including reporting and benefits-related processing.<br>• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis, and reconciliation functions.<br>• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability with close attention to detail.<br>• Experience supporting audits, reporting activities, and data validation within benefits operations.<br>• Ability to manage responsibilities independently and maintain productivity with limited supervision.<br>• Background in accounting, finance, or benefits-related reconciliation work is preferred.<br>• Familiarity with self-billing, carrier invoice review, compliance audits, FMLA, or benefits payment processes is an advantage.
