Customer Service Representative
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a non-profit organization in Boston, Massachusetts on a Contract basis. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for callers, provide timely assistance, and help ensure a positive service experience across every interaction. This opportunity is well suited to someone who communicates clearly, stays organized in a fast-paced setting, and enjoys helping people with accuracy and professionalism.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Respond to incoming calls with professionalism, gather details efficiently, and provide accurate information or next steps to each caller.<br>• Assist customers with service-related questions, resolve routine concerns, and escalate more complex matters when needed.<br>• Enter orders and update customer information carefully to maintain complete and accurate records.<br>• Conduct outbound calls when appropriate to follow up on requests, confirm details, or provide status updates.<br>• Document each interaction clearly to support continuity, reporting, and high-quality customer service.<br>• Manage a steady volume of inquiries while maintaining courtesy, attention to detail, and response accuracy.<br>• Support day-to-day call center operations by adhering to established procedures and service expectations.
• Prior experience in a customer service or call center environment.<br>• Ability to handle a high volume of inbound calls while maintaining professionalism and efficiency.<br>• Experience with order entry and accurate data input.<br>• Strong verbal communication skills and a customer-focused approach.<br>• Comfortable making outbound calls for follow-up or issue resolution as needed.<br>• Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.<br>• Proficiency with standard office and customer service systems.
