Inside Sales
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inside Sales representative to support customer accounts and order management for a manufacturing organization in Ohio. This contract position with potential for a long-term opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing customer communication, sales support, and coordination across internal teams to keep orders moving accurately and on schedule. The role plays an important part in delivering a high-quality customer experience by managing inquiries, tracking orders, and helping customers identify the best solutions for their needs.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage day-to-day customer support activities by responding to questions related to orders, delivery timing, pricing documentation, shipment details, and product-related requests.<br>• Enter and maintain customer orders with accuracy, resolving incomplete information and confirming all details before processing.<br>• Confirm quoted lead times with internal partners such as planning, purchasing, and other operational teams, then communicate any updates or changes clearly to customers.<br>• Organize technical review discussions when special order specifications or unique customer requirements need clarification before release.<br>• Monitor open orders closely, provide timely status updates, and proactively communicate schedule changes, delays, or other issues that may affect delivery commitments.<br>• Coordinate order revisions, cancellations, and related updates while ensuring customers receive confirmation of all approved changes.<br>• Review return requests, prepare authorization documentation in line with company policy, and support the approval process for returned goods.<br>• Investigate debit and credit adjustments, prepare customer quotations, follow up on open quotes, and assist field sales and service teams with account-related needs.<br>• Support compliance with export regulations, coordinate source inspection activities when required, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts through problem-solving and team initiatives.
• At least 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, sales support, or a related order management role.<br>• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear, accurate updates to customers and internal stakeholders.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Demonstrated ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.<br>• Solid computer proficiency, including experience with email, Microsoft Office, and general business systems.<br>• Flexible and responsive approach to changing customer needs, schedules, and management priorities.<br>• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in order entry, reporting, and customer documentation.<br>• Additional language capabilities are considered a plus.
