This role provides senior-level project leadership and accountability for Finance-driven initiatives that require executive coordination, disciplined tracking, and on-time delivery of critical financial commitments. This incumbent acts as the central organizer for key deliverables, aligning Finance, Accounting, and cross-functional partners to meet critical deadlines and communicate progress to leadership. Builds and maintains executive-level PowerPoint presentations, templates, and dashboards that enable consistent, transparent updates to the VP Corporate Controller. RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Executive Reporting & Presentation Support. Serve as the primary owner for executive reporting materials and presentation templates, consolidating updates from Finance leaders into clear, executive-ready deliverables. Project Execution. Lead and manage all aspects of assigned Finance projects, including scope, timelines, and deliverables tied to budget cycles, forecasts, and strategic initiatives. Develop project plans, workstreams, and schedules to ensure on-time completion of financial reporting and operational milestones. Coordinate inputs from FP& A, Accounting, and Business Units; verify interdependencies and ensure accuracy of deliverables. Identify risks and resource constraints; escalate issues promptly to Finance leadership. Facilitate working sessions, document decisions, and ensure ownership of next steps. Ensure quality and accuracy of outputs and compliance with financial policies. Communication. Serve as the single point of contact for project communications to Finance leadership and executive stakeholders. Provide timely, accurate status updates and risk summaries. Prepare leadership readouts and presentation materials for Finance and CEO updates. Ensure alignment across departments and clarity of priorities. Leadership. Provide leadership and influence without direct authority, modeling accountability and disciplined execution. Coach project contributors on effective tracking and follow-through. Champion consistency in project methods, tools, and communication standards. Stay current on best practices in project and financial process management and apply appropriately. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field. 8 + years of progressive experience in finance project management or finance operations roles. Demonstrated experience leading Finance-focused projects or initiatives, ideally with prior hands-on Finance experience earlier in career. Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and project tracking tools. Proven ability to develop clear, visually compelling executive-level presentations and reporting decks that distill complex financial information for leadership audiences. Strong financial acumen and understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles. Exceptional organization, follow-through, and attention to detail. Ability to influence and communicate effectively with VP- and C-suite leaders. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in corporate Finance, FP& A, or Accounting project delivery. PMP certification or equivalent project management training. Experience in large matrixed organizations (retail, manufacturing, or shared services).
