Oracle EBS Developer
<p><strong>Robert Half</strong> is actively partnering with an Austin-based client to identify an Oracle EBS Developer <strong>(contract).</strong> In this role, you will support a long-term enterprise transformation initiative. This role will focus on enhancing and integrating Oracle E-Business Suite applications that support supply chain, order fulfillment, inventory, and manufacturing business processes. The consultant will work closely with technical and functional teams to deliver scalable solutions, integrations, and system enhancements. <strong>This role is onsite in Austin, Tx. </strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Oracle ERP solutions, including reports, interfaces, data conversions, extensions, forms, and workflow components.</li><li>Develop and support system integrations using standard and custom APIs.</li><li>Build and implement REST-based services to facilitate real-time communication between Oracle applications and external platforms.</li><li>Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective ERP solutions.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments.</li><li>Participate in Agile-based software development and continuous improvement initiatives.</li></ul>
<p><strong>Required Technical Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Strong experience supporting Oracle ERP Supply Chain and Manufacturing processes, including order fulfillment, inventory, production, and shipping operations.</li><li>Advanced proficiency with Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, data conversion tools, reporting technologies, workflow development, and document publishing solutions.</li><li>Experience developing and supporting Oracle ERP integrations using standard APIs, interfaces, and web services.</li><li>Hands-on experience exposing database-driven functionality through RESTful services utilizing JSON and XML payloads.</li><li>Strong SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning and optimization skills.</li><li>Experience diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues across multiple environments.</li><li>Knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Experience developing utilities or integrations using Java and/or Python.</li><li>Prior experience supporting large-scale enterprise ERP environments.</li><li>Ability to work closely with business users, analysts, technical teams, and database administrators to deliver end-to-end solutions.</li></ul><p><strong>Education &amp; Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).</li><li>5+ years of hands-on technical experience supporting Oracle ERP environments.</li><li>Demonstrated experience delivering custom development and integration solutions within supply chain or manufacturing-focused ERP implementations.</li></ul><p><strong>Contract Benefit Offerings:</strong></p><ul><li>Healthcare (medical, dental, and vision plans)</li><li>401(k) and retirement plans</li><li>Commuter benefits</li><li>Employee and vendor discounts</li><li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</li><li>And many more!</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p>
