In this hybrid role, you will lead our transition from traditional SEO to AI-first search strategies.</p><p><br></p><p>Your core objective will be ensuring our brand is consistently referenced, cited, and surfaced as the authoritative primary answer across major generative platforms and answer engines—including Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and voice search.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>AI Search Strategy &amp; Execution (AEO/GEO)</p><ul><li>Audit current website assets to identify opportunities for AI citation, direct answer capture, and generative surfacing.</li><li>Optimize web content, landing pages, and technical architecture to position our brand as the primary source for answer engine algorithms.</li><li>Track brand visibility, share of voice, and citation rates across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Overviews.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Structured Data &amp; Semantic Architecture</p><ul><li>Implement robust Schema.org JSON-LD markup and entity-based optimization strategies to ensure content is fully machine-readable.</li><li>Collaborate with in-house technical and web teams to optimize site structure, internal linking, and llms.txt configurations for optimal retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).</li><li>Enhance on-page topical authority and E-E-A-T signals to maximize LLM trust.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Onsite Collaboration (Atlanta Office)</p><ul><li>Attend hybrid working sessions (1–2 days/week) at our Atlanta office to collaborate directly with engineering, product, and content marketing teams.</li><li>Lead cross-functional training to align copywriters and devs on AEO/GEO guidelines and structured writing.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p>

<p>Requirements</p><ul><li>Experience: 3+ years of technical SEO experience, with at least 1–2 years of focused hands-on experience in AEO, GEO, and AI search platform optimization.</li><li>Technical Mastery: Advanced knowledge of Schema.org, JSON-LD, entity mapping, and vector-search-friendly content formatting.</li><li>Platform Knowledge: Demonstrated experience optimizing for Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT Search, Perplexity, Gemini, and traditional featured snippets.</li><li>Location &amp; Work Authorization: Based in the Greater Atlanta Metropolitan Area with the ability to work onsite 1–2 days per week. Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Preferred Qualifications</p><ul><li>Experience with AI tracking and LLM monitoring platforms (e.g., Otterly.ai, Profound, Keyword Insight, or custom prompt trackers).</li><li>Background in semantic SEO, natural language processing (NLP) principles, or vector embeddings.</li></ul><p><br></p>
