Customer Service Representative
<p>Robert Half is partnering with a well-established machinery manufacturer to hire a <strong>Customer Service Representative</strong> who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and delivering an exceptional service experience.</p><p>In this role, you&#39;ll serve as the primary point of contact for residential consumers, assisting with product questions, warranty inquiries, troubleshooting, and general customer support. If you have strong communication skills, enjoy working with people, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we&#39;d love to connect with you.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities: </p><ul><li>Respond to inbound customer calls, emails, and online inquiries regarding products, warranties, and service requests.</li><li>Guide customers through basic troubleshooting and provide solutions to common product concerns.</li><li>Manage customer cases in Zendesk, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up.</li><li>Escalate complex technical issues to authorized service providers when appropriate.</li><li>Maintain detailed customer records and case updates within the support system.</li><li>Develop a strong understanding of residential product lines to provide knowledgeable customer support.</li><li>Assist with additional customer service and administrative responsibilities as needed.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p>
<ul><li>Previous customer service experience in a call center, office, retail, or other customer-facing environment.</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to provide exceptional service over the phone, through email, and via online support channels.</li><li>Comfortable managing a high volume of customer inquiries while remaining organized, professional, and detail-oriented.</li><li>Experience documenting customer interactions and maintaining accurate records in a CRM or customer support platform (Zendesk experience is a plus).</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot customer concerns, identify solutions, and escalate issues when appropriate.</li><li>Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Ability to learn technical product information and confidently educate customers on products, warranties, and service processes.</li></ul>
