Trust Assistant
<p>Seeking an &quot;Trust Associate&quot; to work in a respected Trust here in ABQ. Looking for someone that is self-sufficient and self-motivated- Can train, but must be experienced with Microsoft Excel, light QuickBooks as well is helpful. Working in a dynamic, professional, financial/bank-related office environment. Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, initiative, dependability, high level of motivation, and the ability to multi-task. Outstanding organizational skills, excellent follow-up skills, detail oriented, and an ability to work well under pressure is critical. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required. Must be able to pass a background and credit check. </p><p><br></p>
<p>• Open/Closes all assigned trust accounts on trust accounting system</p><p>• Liaison between various Operations Department functions and the Trust Officer</p><p>• Maintains a tickler system for all assigned trust accounts, performs duties with a high level of follow-up</p><p>• Processes payments, distributions, real estate taxes, and estimated tax payments for assigned accounts</p><p>• Communicates with clients, beneficiaries, portfolio managers, attorneys, CPAs and other trust professionals regarding accounts as assigned</p><p>• Monitors account activity ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, rules and regulations</p><p>• Maintains accurate files and records of assigned accounts</p><p>• Serves as a back up for Front Desk Administrator</p><p>• Performs other duties as assigned</p><p><strong>Skills Required:</strong></p><p> Strong interpersonal and communication skills, initiative, dependability, a high level of motivation, outstanding organizational skills, excellent follow-up skills, good judgement, excellent writing skills and excellent analytical skills. Must be able to prioritize work, and make independent decisions. Detail oriented. Strong decision making skills and the ability to work well under pressure.</p>
