The ideal candidate brings strong financial leadership, a solid understanding of inventory and production costing, and the ability to strengthen controls and reporting accuracy.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Produce accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including key statements that reflect the organization’s financial position and performance.</p><p>• Oversee inventory accounting and product costing across raw materials, in-process production, and completed goods to support accurate valuation and margin visibility.</p><p>• Analyze differences between actual financial results and plans or forecasts, then present findings and practical recommendations to leadership.</p><p>• Establish and track performance measures that help evaluate manufacturing efficiency, spending trends, and cost management efforts.</p><p>• Interpret financial data, identify meaningful patterns or risks, and communicate opportunities to improve profitability and operational performance.</p><p>• Direct day-to-day accounting activities, including receivables, payables, budgeting, forecasting, and related financial administration.</p><p>• Manage banking activity and purchasing-related financial transactions to help maintain effective cash flow and accurate records.</p><p>• Partner with external auditors and support compliance with company policies, reporting standards, and financial governance expectations.</p><p>• Design, maintain, and improve internal controls that protect assets and promote reliable financial reporting.</p><p><br></p><p>Interested candidates can contact <strong>Bridget Killen at Robert Half</strong> for more information.</p>

<p>• Experience in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role within a manufacturing or product-based environment.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory valuation, and month-end close processes.</p><p>• Demonstrated ability to prepare financial statements and manage budgeting and forecasting activities.</p><p>• Proficiency in financial analysis, including variance reporting and performance measurement.</p><p>• Hands-on understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, and purchasing transactions.</p><p>• Familiarity with internal controls, audit coordination, and financial compliance practices.</p><p>• Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights clearly to leadership.</p><p>• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.</p>
