Plant Controller
<p>Robert Half is partnering with an established manufacturing organization in the Alabaster area to identify a Plant Controller. This is a hands on plant accounting position with significant interaction with operations and plant leadership.</p><p><br></p><p>The ideal candidate will have strong manufacturing cost accounting experience and enjoy getting beyond the numbers to understand how the operation actually works. <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field</li><li>5+ years of accounting experience</li><li>Strong manufacturing cost accounting experience</li><li>Experience with standard costing and manufacturing variance analysis</li><li>Strong inventory accounting knowledge</li><li>Solid understanding of financial statements, journal entries, and GAAP</li><li>Advanced Excel skills</li><li>Ability to communicate financial information effectively to operational leaders</li><li>Comfortable working in a hands on plant environment</li></ul><p><br></p>
