<p><strong>This newly created Group Finance Manager</strong><strong> role </strong><strong>for a rapidly growing Asset Manager firm paying £85,000 to £95,000 depending on experience with a Discretionary bonus, based the heart of the City of London</strong></p><p><strong>Role</strong></p><p>This Group Finance Manager role will be working closely with the Group Financial Controller to help build out the finance team</p><p>Please find a brief outline of the role below.</p><ul><li>Lead the monthly close process for all entities: review trial balances, journals, intercompany positions, and balance sheet reconciliations.</li><li>Liaise with third-party advisors to ensure timely submission of financial data and compliance with group policies.</li><li>Build, manage and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders including entity directors, acting as finance business partner.</li><li>Confidently manage senior stakeholders, ensuring financial communication is clear, solutions-focused, and aligned with Group requirements.</li><li>Ensure consistent application of IFRS across respective subsidiaries.</li><li>Design and implement fit for purpose IFRS 15, IFRS 9 and other IFRS compliant policies.</li><li>Design fit for purpose, standardised management accounts ensuring full use of technology for efficient and timely delivery.</li><li>Take ownership of the company's share scheme policy, overseeing its development, implementation, and compliance.</li><li>Support and own elements of group consolidation, including elimination entries and intercompany reconciliations for relevant entities.</li><li>Lead on areas of preparation of half-year and year-end group financial statements under IFRS.</li><li>Manage the day-to-day relationship with external Big 4 auditors, taking responsibility for difficult queries and complex areas</li><li>Contribute to the implementation of the Group Financial Controls Framework and continuous improvement of financial processes.</li></ul><p><strong>Profile</strong></p><p>The Group Finance Manager for this Asset Manager Firm is ideally for the below</p><ul><li>A Qualified Accountant (ACA/CA) with at least 4 years' Experience in a similar role</li><li>Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly IFRS.</li><li>Experience in a group finance or statutory reporting role within a multinational or listed business.</li><li>Professional Services background.</li></ul><p><strong>Company</strong></p><p>The Group Finance Manager will report into a hugely impressive Group Finance Controller who you will very closely on the day-to-day operations.
