<p><strong>Finance Manager</strong><br /> Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid Working (3 Days in London Office)</p><p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented <strong>Finance Manager</strong> to join a growing professional services firm with international operations across the UK, US, and Europe.</p><p>In this pivotal role, you'll take ownership of the monthly financial processes, ensuring accurate reporting and strong financial controls. Working closely with the Financial Controller, you'll also provide guidance and support to a Finance Assistant, drive improvements in systems and processes, and play a key role in delivering high-quality management information that supports the business's growth.</p><h3>What you'll be doing</h3><ul><li><p>Oversee and deliver monthly management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate reporting across multiple entities.</p></li><li><p>Prepare reconciliation schedules for UK and US entities, and present monthly management accounts to the finance team.</p></li><li><p>Monitor expenditure against budget and ensure compliance with financial covenants.</p></li><li><p>Lead credit control activities and support cashflow management.</p></li><li><p>Support UK and US payroll processes.</p></li><li><p>Supervise and mentor a Finance Assistant, overseeing key finance operations including bank reconciliations, purchase ledger, and expense processing.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to the setup and maintenance of financial data rooms for fundraising and due diligence.</p></li><li><p>Review and improve finance processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.</p></li><li><p>Provide cover across the finance function as needed.</p></li></ul><h3>What we're looking for</h3><ul><li><p>AAT qualified or ACCA/ACA/CIMA part-qualified (or equivalent experience).</p></li><li><p>Strong experience producing management accounts and improving financial processes in a fast-paced environment.</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to support and develop junior team members, including offshore teams.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in <strong>Xero</strong> (including payroll and expenses modules) is essential.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication, attention to detail, and prioritisation skills.</p></li><li><p>Flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to meet deadlines during busy periods.</p></li></ul><h3>Why join us?</h3><p>You'll be joining a small but dynamic finance team where your input truly makes an impact.
