From accounting and controls to budgeting, reporting, and forecasting. You will play a hands-on role in developing the finance function, ensuring robust processes and systems are in place to support a fast-growing, data-driven global business. Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Oversee all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, payroll, and revenue recognition.</li><li>Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.</li><li>Coordinate and direct the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and performance reports, providing insight into financial results and business drivers.</li><li>Ensure compliance with relevant UK, international accounting standards (IFRS), and taxation requirements.</li><li>Support the COO in commercial and operational areas, including contract negotiation, procurement, and supplier management.</li><li>Develop and maintain strong internal controls, financial policies, and accounting processes.</li><li>Manage the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors and advisors.</li><li>Provide financial insight and recommendations to leadership to guide strategic decision-making.</li><li>Evaluate company performance through analysis and interpretation of key financial and operational metrics.</li><li>Assist in the set-up and financial management of overseas subsidiaries and intercompany transactions.</li></ul> About You <ul><li>ACA, ACMA, or ACCA qualified, with 5+ years' post-qualification experience.</li><li>Proven track record as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager in a fast-paced, high-growth, or technology-led environment.</li><li>Strong understanding of UK GAAP/IFRS, corporate taxation, and compliance.</li><li>Experienced in preparing management accounts, financial statements, and forecasts.</li><li>Confident Xero user with solid system administration and reporting capabilities.</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner with senior leaders.</li><li>Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritise multiple deliverables and meet tight deadlines.</li><li>Commercially astute, proactive, and excited by the opportunity to help shape a scaling business.</li></ul> Salary and Benefits The role of Financial Controller is offered with a salary of £100 - £120,000 DOE and will work on a hybrid basis with 4 office days and 1 from home.Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
