Receptionist
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Receptionist to join our team on a short-term contract basis in Vancouver, British Columbia. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and excellent service. You will also support various administrative tasks to maintain a well-functioning office environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Greet and assist all visitors and clients upon arrival, ensuring a positive and detail-oriented first impression.</p><p>• Manage meeting room reservations and provide support for event coordination, including catering and room setup/cleanup.</p><p>• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of office spaces, including boardrooms, meeting rooms, and the reception area.</p><p>• Oversee kitchen supplies and equipment, ensuring coffee and tea stations are always stocked and functional.</p><p>• Provide occasional support to the procurement team and assist with accounts payable invoicing as needed.</p><p>• Handle incoming calls using a multi-line phone system and direct them appropriately.</p><p>• Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars for office staff as required.</p><p>• Perform general administrative duties, including email correspondence, file organization, and data entry.</p>
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative or receptionist role.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.<br>• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with executives and clients.<br>• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.<br>• Comfortable handling a multi-line phone system and managing high call volumes.<br>• Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly and approachable demeanor.<br>• Business casual attire is required to maintain a detail-oriented appearance.
