Administrative Assistant
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Burnaby, British Columbia. This is a contract position requiring consistent on-site availability to support daily office operations and ensure smooth workflow. The role involves working closely with construction professionals, handling administrative tasks, and contributing to the team's efficiency.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate departments or individuals.<br>• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.<br>• Perform accurate data entry and maintain records in an organized manner.<br>• Handle email correspondence, ensuring timely responses and appropriate follow-ups.<br>• Coordinate schedules and appointments for team members and external stakeholders.<br>• Prepare and edit documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.<br>• Maintain calendars and assist in planning meetings or events as required.<br>• Collaborate with team members to support various administrative tasks and office needs.<br>• Monitor office supplies and coordinate restocking as necessary.<br>• Support the team with any additional duties as assigned to ensure operational efficiency.
• Proven experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.<br>• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.<br>• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.<br>• Ability to deliver attentive and courteous customer service.<br>• Keen attention to detail and accuracy in handling data and documentation.<br>• Familiarity with scheduling tools and appointment coordination.<br>• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
