Payroll Administrator
<p>We are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our client's team on a 2-3 months contract in Vancouver, British Columbia. In this role, you will manage payroll operations for a high-volume retail environment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative setting while contributing to the smooth operation of payroll processes.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Process and reconcile payroll for hourly, semi-monthly, and bi-weekly employees, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.</p><p>• Address and resolve payroll-related tickets, including onboarding, terminations, role changes, and login issues.</p><p>• Verify and reconcile timecards, ensuring all discrepancies are resolved prior to payroll submission.</p><p>• Support the US and Canadian Payroll Supervisor with ad hoc payroll requests and reporting needs.</p><p>• Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll processing and employee data updates.</p><p>• Communicate effectively with retail staff to clarify and resolve payroll inquiries.</p><p>• Assist in preparing and submitting payroll remittances, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.</p><p>• Use Excel for payroll reconciliations, including VLOOKUPs and basic formulas.</p><p>• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.</p><p>• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation for auditing purposes.</p>
<p>• Minimum of 3 years of US or Canadian payroll administration experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.</p><p>• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or Ceridian Dayforce.</p><p>• Strong Excel skills, including the ability to use VLOOKUPs and basic formulas.</p><p>• Familiarity with ticketing systems for managing payroll inquiries.</p><p>• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with retail staff and management.</p><p>• Knowledge of Canadian payroll regulations; experience with US payroll is an asset.</p><p>• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.</p><p>• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.</p>
