Payroll Administrator
<p>We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our client's team on a permanent basis in Vancouver, British Columbia. In this role, you will manage payroll processes for a large workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance across multiple provinces. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced environment within the real estate and facilities management industry.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 3,000 hourly employees across multiple provinces, ensuring compliance with provincial regulations.</p><p>• Reconcile restaurant timesheets manually against the internal Cohesion system for over 160 locations.</p><p>• Oversee automated timesheet processes for hotel employees, ensuring accurate data integration.</p><p>• Utilize Ceridian Dayforce to manage payroll operations and resolve system-related issues.</p><p>• Maintain detailed payroll records, including deductions, benefits, and adjustments.</p><p>• Address and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.</p><p>• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure payroll aligns with organizational policies.</p><p>• Generate reports and provide analytics on payroll trends and discrepancies.</p><p>• Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and industry best practices.</p><p>• Assist with audits and compliance reviews as required.</p>
• Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle payroll experience, ideally with a focus on hourly employees.<br>• Proficiency in managing payroll for a workforce spread across multiple provinces.<br>• Strong knowledge of Ceridian Dayforce and advanced Excel skills.<br>• Familiarity with Canadian payroll regulations and compliance requirements.<br>• Experience processing payroll for a large employee base (500+ employees).<br>• Attention to detail and ability to handle high volumes of data accurately.<br>• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.<br>• Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and resolve queries.
