Office Manager
We are looking for a highly organized and adaptable Office Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Vancouver, British Columbia. This role will primarily involve overseeing tasks related to an office relocation while providing essential administrative support in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Finance and IT Executive Director, you will play a key role in ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly during this transitional period.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Coordinate logistics for the office relocation, including packing and unpacking boxes and liaising with movers to ensure seamless transitions.<br>• Serve as the main contact for technical support, troubleshooting issues, and managing technology setup during the move.<br>• Manage calendars and order supplies to support the Executive Director and broader team.<br>• Oversee data clean-up projects to streamline organizational processes.<br>• Provide general administrative support, ensuring efficient communication and task management across the team.<br>• Navigate and adapt to team dynamics, ensuring a collaborative and productive work environment.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Excel for tracking and organizing relocation logistics.<br>• Maintain and organize documentation using tools like SharePoint or similar platforms.
• Proven experience in office management or administrative roles, preferably in a fast-paced setting.<br>• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on detail-oriented work.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for creating and managing spreadsheets.<br>• Familiarity with SharePoint or similar content management tools.<br>• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for handling emails and inbound calls.<br>• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage tasks efficiently.<br>• Experience coordinating office moves or relocations is an asset.<br>• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
