Office Manager
We are looking for an organized and adaptable Office Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Vancouver, British Columbia. This role will provide essential support during a busy period, including an office move and the absence of the current executive assistant. The position requires a hands-on individual who thrives in dynamic environments and can effectively manage administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Coordinate logistics for the office move, including packing and unpacking items and scheduling movers while ensuring seamless delivery arrangements.<br>• Act as the main point of contact for technical setup and troubleshooting during the transition period.<br>• Manage calendars and order office supplies to support the Executive Director and overall team needs.<br>• Assist with data organization and clean-up projects to improve efficiency and accuracy.<br>• Perform general office administration tasks and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Maintain clear communication with team members to ensure alignment on timelines and deliverables.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Excel to track and organize move-related details and other administrative data.<br>• Provide occasional support for inbound calls and email correspondence.<br>• Ensure that all office functions continue to operate smoothly during this transitional period.
• Proven experience in office management or a similar administrative role.<br>• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for data organization and tracking.<br>• Familiarity with SharePoint or similar platforms for content management and collaboration.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.<br>• Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in managing logistical or technical challenges.<br>• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.<br>• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and maintain attention to detail.<br>• Previous experience coordinating office moves or relocations is an asset.
