Data Analyst
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join a team in Toronto, Ontario and turn complex data into practical insights that support product growth and performance. In this role, you will combine experimentation, reporting, and predictive analysis to evaluate user trends, measure outcomes, and guide business decisions. The position calls for a strong analytical mindset, technical fluency, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Create and maintain dynamic dashboards and reporting tools that improve visibility into product and business performance metrics.<br>• Build scalable data models and establish clear metric definitions that support reliable self-service reporting across teams.<br>• Plan and assess A/B and multivariate experiments to measure feature impact and inform product direction.<br>• Examine customer behaviour, conversion paths, cohort trends, and feature usage patterns to uncover opportunities for growth and optimization.<br>• Develop forecasting and scenario-based models, including lifetime value assessments, to evaluate business strategies under different risk conditions.<br>• Investigate performance issues through detailed root cause analysis and provide data-backed recommendations for improvement.<br>• Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques to strengthen decision-making and improve product outcomes.<br>• Work closely with Product, Marketing, Risk, Finance, and Data Engineering teams to align analytical priorities with business goals and compliance expectations.<br>• Present insights, findings, and strategic recommendations to senior leaders in a clear and actionable way.
<p>• Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis, growth analytics, credit risk, or financial services analytics.</p><p>• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with the ability to manage, analyze, and interpret large datasets.</p><p>• Hands-on experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QuickSight, or similar platforms.</p><p>• Familiarity with experimental design, statistical analysis, and performance measurement methodologies.</p><p>• Experience developing predictive or machine learning models for business applications is considered an asset.</p><p>• Understanding of risk-based decision frameworks, customer performance analysis, or credit-related analytics is preferred.</p><p>• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into clear business recommendations.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Our specialized recruiting professionals apply their expertise and utilize our proprietary AI to find you great job matches faster.</strong></p>
