We are looking for a Database Analyst to support data-driven decision-making for a service-focused organization in Thornhill, Ontario. This role combines database expertise with business insight to turn complex information into clear reporting, campaign analysis, and practical recommendations. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to interpret data, evaluate performance, and develop meaningful analytics solutions.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Analyze marketing and customer data to identify trends, measure campaign results, and provide actionable business insights.<br>• Build, maintain, and optimize database queries and data sets to support reporting, segmentation, and performance analysis.<br>• Develop dashboards and visual reports using tools such as Power BI or Tableau to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.<br>• Partner with business teams to translate analytical needs into structured reporting and data solutions that support decision-making.<br>• Design and assess tests and experiments to evaluate initiatives, validate assumptions, and improve future campaign performance.<br>• Use programming and database tools to manage large enterprise data environments and ensure reliable access to information.<br>• Prepare clear summaries and presentations that connect analytical results to business objectives for both technical and non-technical audiences.<br>• Support data initiatives involving SQL-based environments, including work completed through SQL Server Management Studio and related platforms when required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Engineering, Commerce, or a related discipline.<br>• At least 3 years of experience in analytics, database marketing, marketing analysis, campaign evaluation, or a similar field.<br>• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with enterprise-level database programming using SAS and SQL.<br>• Proficiency in business intelligence and data visualization tools, including Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.<br>• Strong communication skills with the ability to present data in a compelling and business-focused way.<br>• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and act as a link between technical data work and business goals.<br>• Experience with SQL Server Management Studio and T-SQL is considered an asset.<br>• Familiarity with Environics Prizm, Envision, or SAS Advanced Programming certification is considered an asset.
