Member Services Representative
<p>Our client, a well-established and community-focused financial institution, is seeking an experienced Loan Officer / Member Services Representative to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused banking professional who enjoys building relationships, providing financial solutions, and delivering exceptional member service.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Provide lending solutions including personal loans, mortgages, lines of credit, and other consumer lending products.</li><li>Interview members to understand their financial needs and recommend appropriate lending and banking solutions.</li><li>Review loan applications, analyze credit information, and prepare lending recommendations.</li><li>Support members with debt management, financial guidance, and loan servicing.</li><li>Promote and cross-sell a variety of financial products and services to meet member needs.</li><li>Open new accounts and process a variety of financial transactions accurately and efficiently.</li><li>Assist members with everyday banking inquiries while delivering an outstanding customer experience.</li><li>Prepare mortgage renewals, loan modifications, and related documentation.</li><li>Monitor delinquent accounts and work collaboratively with members to establish repayment solutions.</li><li>Maintain compliance with lending policies, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures.</li><li>Participate in branch initiatives that support business growth and member engagement.</li></ul><p><br></p>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience in retail banking, lending, or financial services.</li><li>Strong knowledge of consumer lending products, mortgages, and deposit services.</li><li>Experience reviewing loan applications and assessing credit risk.</li><li>Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.</li><li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.</li><li>Proficiency using banking or financial management systems is considered an asset.</li><li>Mutual Funds License is considered an asset or willingness to obtain.</li></ul><p><strong>What You Will Bring</strong></p><ul><li>Professional and approachable communication style.</li><li>Sound judgment and strong analytical skills.</li><li>Passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals.</li><li>Ability to build lasting relationships with members and colleagues.</li><li>High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.</li></ul><p>If you are looking to join a reputable organization that values exceptional service, professional development, and community involvement, we encourage you to apply.
