This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on manufacturing environment and has built a strong foundation in inventory accounting within Canada.</p><p>This role is best suited to experienced inventory accounting professionals. While accounting education is valued, this position is <strong>not well-suited for CPA-pursuing accountants</strong> as the role will not provide a pre-approved CPA support (experience or financial support). </p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You Will Be Doing</strong></p><ul><li>Perform inventory reconciliations and investigate inventory variances.</li><li>Support month-end inventory close and related journal entries.</li><li>Maintain inventory costing and assist with cost analysis.</li><li>Monitor inventory transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.</li><li>Partner with warehouse, operations, and production teams to resolve inventory issues.</li><li>Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and annual physical inventory.</li><li>Prepare inventory-related reports and analysis for management.</li><li>Help strengthen inventory controls and improve accounting processes.</li></ul><p><br></p>

<p><strong>What We Are Looking For</strong></p><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum <strong>2 years of direct Inventory Accountant (or closely related) experience within Canada.</strong></li><li>Previous experience working in a <strong>manufacturing environment</strong> is required.</li><li>Strong understanding of inventory reconciliations, inventory transactions, and inventory accounting principles.</li><li>Comfortable working closely with operations and warehouse teams.</li><li>Ability to work <strong>full-time on-site</strong> in Surrey (this is not a hybrid or remote role).</li><li>Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Assets</strong></p><ul><li>Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.</li><li>Experience with manufacturing ERP systems.</li><li>Exposure to cost accounting or inventory costing.</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation &amp; Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive salary of <strong>$65,000–$75,000</strong>, depending on experience.</li><li>Comprehensive benefits package.</li><li>Stable, long-term opportunity with an established manufacturing organization.</li><li>Opportunity to develop your expertise within a collaborative accounting and operations team.</li></ul><p>If you have a proven background in <strong>inventory accounting within Canadian manufacturing</strong> and are looking for your next opportunity with a company that values operational excellence and teamwork, we would love to hear from you.
