The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and possesses exceptional problem-solving skills. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in the client’s accounting operations to ensure timely and accurate financial recordkeeping. You will supervise accounting staff, provide mentorship, and manage key day-to-day accounting functions.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Oversee and execute the month-end and year-end closing processes</li><li>Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements</li><li>Perform complex account reconciliations and analyze financial data to identify trends or discrepancies</li><li>Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies, and work closely with the internal/external auditors</li><li>Manage general ledger activities such as journal entries, adjustments, and accruals</li><li>Oversee tax filings and reporting, partnering with external consultants as needed</li><li>Mentor junior accounting team members and contribute to their professional growth</li></ul>
