<p><strong>THE ROLE:</strong></p><p>Our client is seeking a highly skilled Sr Financial Accountant to join their team on a 15-month contract. This role will focus on full-cycle operational accounting, financial reporting, and complex transaction management for a large portfolio.</p><p><em>Responsibilities</em></p><ul><li>Manage full-cycle accounting activities, including day-to-day accounting transactions</li><li>Prepare and post complex journal entries, including investment transactions and tax provisions</li><li>Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements</li><li>Reconcile bank accounts, prepaid accounts, and other balance sheet accounts</li><li>Support internal reporting for shareholders</li></ul><p><strong>ABOUT YOU:</strong></p><p>You’re a detail-oriented CPA with a strong foundation in full-cycle accounting and a passion for financial reporting. <p><strong>YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><ul><li>CPA designation (Canadian preferred; international equivalents considered)</li><li>Minimum 2 years post-designation accounting experience with broad exposure to full-cycle accounting</li><li> Strong hands-on accounting skills with ability to manage day-to-day transactions</li><li> Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables for organizing and analyzing data.</li><li>Proficiency in preparing complex journal entries, including tax and investment-related transactions</li><li>Strong reconciliation skills across various balance sheet accounts</li><li>Experience supporting internal reporting for stakeholders or shareholders</li></ul><p>If you are available immediately with the requirements listed above, click the “Apply Now!” link.
