Human Resources (HR) Manager
<p>A well-established and growing organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations at a key Canadian site. This role offers the opportunity to act as a trusted business partner to leaders while overseeing the full employee lifecycle, supporting organizational growth, and fostering a positive, high-performance workplace culture.</p><p>The successful candidate will blend strategic thinking with hands-on execution, providing leadership and guidance across talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance, HR systems, and employee engagement initiatives.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Serve as the primary HR lead for a mid-sized operational location, supporting leadership and employees on a broad range of human resources matters.</li><li>Partner with senior leadership to implement HR programs and initiatives that align with organizational goals and business priorities.</li><li>Oversee recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and day-to-day HR operations.</li><li>Lead employee engagement and recognition initiatives that contribute to a positive workplace culture and employee experience.</li><li>Coach and support managers in performance management, employee development, succession planning, and talent retention strategies.</li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable employment legislation, internal policies, and HR best practices.</li><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support payroll accuracy, employee data integrity, and HR reporting requirements.</li><li>Contribute to HR technology and process improvement initiatives, including system enhancements, data management, and user adoption.</li><li>Support workplace health and safety programs through documentation, training coordination, and policy compliance.</li><li>Participate in company-wide projects focused on organizational effectiveness, employee communications, and continuous improvement.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p>
<ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Ontario and Canadian employment legislation and HR best practices.</li><li>Demonstrated experience managing employee relations, performance management, and HR operations.</li><li>Experience supporting payroll processes, HRIS platforms, reporting, and workforce analytics.</li><li>Proven ability to build relationships and influence leaders across multiple departments.</li><li>Background supporting operational, industrial, manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, life sciences, or other fast-paced environments is considered an asset.</li><li>Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices is preferred.</li><li>CHRP or CHRL designation is an asset.</li></ul><p><br></p>
