58% Somewhat helpful
22% Very helpful
12% Not very helpful
8% Not helpful at all

But how many HR managers reported receiving notes from applicants?

Only 24%

According to HR managers, the following are appropriate methods for applicants to thank an interviewer*:

86% Handwritten note
56% Phone call
7% Social media
5% Text message
2% None of these
