  • <p>Associate Attorney – Construction &amp; Infrastructure Litigation (Houston, TX)</p><p><strong>Confidential Opportunity | Am Law 100 Firm</strong></p><p>Our client, a nationally recognized Am Law 100 law firm, is seeking an <strong>Associate Attorney</strong> with <strong>3+ years of construction and infrastructure litigation experience</strong> to join its growing Houston office.</p><p>This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney who wants meaningful responsibility early in their career while working alongside respected partners on sophisticated, high-profile construction disputes across the country. The successful candidate will have direct client interaction, courtroom experience, and strong mentorship within a collaborative team environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities: </u></strong></p><ul><li>Represent owners, contractors, subcontractors, developers, engineers, and other industry participants in complex construction and infrastructure disputes.</li><li>Handle matters involving:</li><li>Mechanics&#39; and materialmen&#39;s liens</li><li>Payment disputes</li><li>Delay and disruption claims</li><li>Defective design and construction claims</li><li>Contract interpretation and enforcement</li><li>Prepare, file, and enforce mechanics&#39; and materialmen&#39;s liens while advising clients regarding lien rights and related remedies.</li><li>Independently manage core litigation responsibilities, including:</li><li>Drafting pleadings and dispositive motions</li><li>Legal research and analysis</li><li>Written discovery and document review</li><li>Motion practice</li><li>Taking and defending depositions</li><li>Preparing witnesses</li><li>Assisting with trial strategy and trial preparation</li><li>Work closely with experienced partners on complex litigation involving major commercial and infrastructure projects nationwide.</li><li>Build client relationships through regular interaction and active participation in case strategy.</li></ul><p><br></p>
