<p>The Office Assistant III provides high-level administrative and program support to the Affordable Housing, Homeownership, and Housing Preservation programs. This role supports day-to-day office operations, assists program staff and constituents, and helps ensure timely delivery of services in alignment with Fair Housing Act requirements and agency policies. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, professional, and passionate about supporting access to safe, decent, and affordable housing.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Provide administrative support for Affordable Housing program operations</li><li>Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for program leadership</li><li>Arrange and confirm travel logistics, transportation, and accommodations</li><li>Prepare correspondence, memos, agendas, and meeting materials</li><li>Organize and maintain electronic and physical filing systems in accordance with records retention policies</li><li>Support application processing and program documentation for housing initiatives</li><li>Assist with tracking work orders, invoices, case files, and unit status updates</li><li>Respond to inquiries from residents, property owners, partner agencies, and internal stakeholders</li><li>Provide excellent customer service while maintaining confidentiality</li><li>Assist with preparation of reports, spreadsheets, and program metrics</li><li>Coordinate meeting rooms, presentations, and community engagement activities</li><li>Support procurement, purchasing, and contract administration processes as needed</li><li>Perform data entry into housing and case management systems</li><li>Support onboarding of temporary or project staff</li><li>Other related duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Commitment to Fair Housing & Equity</strong></p><ul><li>Demonstrate working knowledge of the Fair Housing Act and affordable housing program guidelines</li><li>Interact with tenants, homeowners, and program participants in a respectful, non-discriminatory manner</li><li>Uphold principles of equal access regardless of race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, or source of income</li><li>Maintain impartiality in communication and program administration activities</li><li>Escalate potential Fair Housing concerns appropriately and support resolution processes</li></ul><p><br></p>
