<p>We are looking for a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our growing Criminal Defense legal team in Los Angeles, California. This role offers the opportunity to work in a private practice environment, focusing on criminal defense cases with a personalized approach. The ideal candidate will be <strong>passionate about advocacy, eager to gain courtroom experience, and committed to delivering exceptional results for clients. </strong>This role can be done remotely, with the exception of court appearances in LA.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Represent clients in misdemeanor cases, ensuring their legal rights are protected and advocating for favorable outcomes.</p><p>• Manage a manageable caseload of 2-3 cases daily, allowing for in-depth case preparation and comprehensive client support.</p><p>• Conduct court appearances regularly, engaging with judges, district attorneys, and other legal professionals.</p><p>• Build strong relationships with clients by demonstrating empathy, confidence, and effective communication.</p><p>• Handle referral-based cases, often involving first-time offenders or one-off technical violations.</p><p>• Participate in client intake and follow-ups, ensuring timely and accurate communication throughout the legal process.</p><p>• Shadow and collaborate with senior attorney to gain valuable insights and experience.</p><p>• Gradually take on more complex cases and responsibilities as skills and confidence develop.</p><p>• Maintain professionalism and presence in the courtroom while representing clients effectively.</p>
