<p>We are looking for a skilled Public Staff Tax Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Green Valley, Arizona. This role involves preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, with a focus on individual filings, partnerships, and passive activities. Candidates must have significant experience in tax preparation and a strong understanding of retirement community clientele.</p><p><br></p><p>This would be a part-time position to start, then go to 30 - 40 hours from March to April 15th. </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Prepare and review complex individual tax returns, including those involving K-1s, partnerships, AZ returns and Multi-state returns and passive activities.</p><p>• Collaborate with clients from retirement communities to ensure accurate and compliant tax filings.</p><p>• Utilize Ultratax CS to efficiently process and manage tax documentation.</p><p>• Conduct thorough reviews of corporate tax returns to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance.</p><p>• Stay updated on tax regulations and apply them effectively to client situations.</p><p>• Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial information and clarify filing requirements.</p><p>• Manage multiple tax preparation projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.</p><p>• Provide detailed and thoughtful advice to clients regarding tax-saving strategies and compliance.</p><p>• Maintain organized and detailed records of all tax-related documentation.</p><p>• Work closely with team members to improve processes and share best practices.</p>
<p>Our client, a confidential organization in need of immediate accounting support, is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant for a temp-to-hire opportunity. The successful candidate will support daily and monthly accounting operations, ensure accuracy and compliance, and act as a reliable resource for a busy finance team.
