<p><strong>Job Description: DevOps Engineer / Cloud Infrastructure Specialist</strong></p><p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing configuration management patterns and infrastructure-as-code solutions.</li><li>Create and maintain comprehensive policies and technical documentation of best practices for all implemented system configurations to ensure efficient planning and execution.</li><li>Perform requirements analysis and design models for infrastructure and application flow.</li><li>Conduct design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.</li><li>Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and business requirements.</li><li>Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation. Recommend and implement changes to existing hardware and operating system infrastructure, including patches, users, file systems, and kernel parameters. <p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p><p> • Maintain and troubleshoot physical endpoints across factories, remote offices, and embedded machining equipment.</p><p> • Manage Windows Server fundamentals including Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.</p><p> • Administer and deploy systems across Debian, Windows, and MacOS environments.</p><p> • Configure and administer cloud and on-prem virtualization (QEMU/KVM, Kubernetes, EC2).</p><p> • Support and administer on-premises servers (HPE/Dell).</p><p> • Maintain and administer networking equipment (PANOS, JUNOS, AWS TGW).</p><p> • Manage RAID, data backup, and duplication processes.</p><p> • Deploy and support Data Loss Prevention technologies.</p><p> • Support both on-premises and cloud databases (MSSQL, Postgres).</p><p> • Collaborate with Cybersecurity on security requirements, documentation, and training.</p><p> • Document network configurations, procedures, and maintain device inventory across factories.</p><p> • Analyze performance and resolve bottlenecks and QoS issues.</p><p> • Provide Tier 3 technical support and work with vendors on complex issues.</p><p><br></p>
<p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Data Center Technician to support and maintain our mission-critical infrastructure. This role is hands-on and essential for ensuring uptime and operational excellence in our data center environment. Candidates should be comfortable working with hardware and software, including use of the Linux command line, and must be available for on-call responsibilities as needed.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Maintain physical hardware infrastructure, including racking equipment, replacing hard drives, and other system components.</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment with minimal supervision.</li><li>Manage onsite inventory for hard drives, cables, rails, and spare parts.</li><li>Process RMAs for defective components to facilitate timely replacement.</li><li>Set up, test, and activate new equipment via the Linux command line.</li><li>Train new Data Center Technicians as required.</li><li>Assist with projects installing new systems and services when possible.</li><li>Follow and enhance data center best practices and update documentation regularly.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.</li><li>Participate in on-call rotation; must be available within an hour’s notice, including occasional 24x7 onsite support.</li><li>Work schedules may include weekends (e.g., Tuesday–Saturday) and may require evening or overnight shifts.</li><li>Support shipping and receiving activities, including moving and unpacking equipment.</li></ul><p><br></p>
