The position serves as a central technical leader from planning through delivery, helping teams align design intent, construction execution, and commissioning outcomes. </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>Own and manage the technical design basis and engineering strategy across the program.</p><p>Lead technical coordination across electrical, mechanical, controls, CSA, power infrastructure, white space and commissioning.</p><p>Translate customer requirements into coordinated design and construction deliverables.</p><p>Maintain technical governance of the Basis of Design, design criteria, specifications, drawings and technical standards.</p><p>Lead technical reviews and challenge consultants, designers, contractors and vendors where required.</p><p>Manage critical interfaces between behind-the-meter generation, electrical distribution, cooling infrastructure, building systems, white space and customer equipment.</p><p>Provide technical leadership across high-density power distribution and direct liquid cooling, including CDU and facility-water interfaces.</p><p>Ensure designs incorporate reliability, redundancy, maintainability, operational resilience and commissioning requirements.</p><p>Manage technical RFIs, design decisions, deviations, assumptions and engineering changes. </p><p>Assess technical changes for schedule, cost, constructability and operational impact before implementation.</p><p>Coordinate with the Programme Director so design releases and technical decisions support the overall master program.</p><p>Work with procurement/vendors to ensure major equipment selections and technical submittals meet requirements.</p><p>Support construction teams through technical resolution, installation, testing and system turnover.</p><p>Work with the Commissioning Lead to embed commissioning requirements into the design.</p><p>Identify and escalate technical risks affecting scope, schedule, cost, reliability or customer requirements.</p><p>Provide concise technical reporting and recommendations to senior leadership.</p>
