Responsibilities:• Examine fraud alerts and assess account activity to determine the most appropriate next steps for minimizing potential financial exposure.• Investigate flagged transactions by comparing current activity with prior customer behavior, account history, and available internal records.• Partner with branch teams and internal business units to gather context, clarify unusual activity, and support sound fraud determinations.• Make payment or return decisions related to suspicious transactions based on findings, risk indicators, and established procedures.• Communicate case outcomes to relevant internal stakeholders when follow-up or resolution details are required.• Maintain complete and organized case files in accordance with documentation handling and record retention expectations.• Support additional operational or analytical assignments as directed by management to meet team priorities.• Assist with onboarding or guidance for team members by sharing process knowledge and best practices when needed.
