- <p>We are seeking an experienced Email Designer to support a high-visibility digital channel responsible for delivering large-scale email campaigns to a broad audience. This is a production-focused role ideal for someone who enjoys working within established systems while bringing strong visual judgment and attention to detail to every send.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Role</strong>: Production Designer</p><p><strong>Location</strong>: Remote, Pacific time hours</p><p><strong>Duration</strong>: 3 months to start, possibility to extend</p><p><strong>Hours per week</strong>: 40</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Design + Technical Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Strong <strong>design background</strong> (email-specific design preferred).</li><li>Understanding of <strong>HTML for email</strong>, especially modifying <strong>tables‑based layouts</strong>.</li><li>Experience building <strong>hero images</strong>, including <strong>GIF creation</strong> and selecting/optimizing content.</li><li>Ability to apply <strong>gradients</strong>, optimize image readability, and ensure strong visual hierarchy.</li><li>Solid understanding of <strong>ADA compliance</strong> in email design.</li><li>Strong <strong>attention to detail</strong> given low margin for error.</li></ul><p><strong>Workflow + Production</strong></p><ul><li>Comfortable in a <strong>production-heavy environment</strong>.</li><li>Ability to handle <strong>high volume</strong> and iterate quickly.</li><li>Ability to work with many stakeholders reviewing content.</li></ul><p><strong>Tools + Platforms</strong></p><ul><li>Familiarity with or ability to learn <strong>Knak</strong> (drag-and-drop email builder).</li><li>Ability to work with or learn internal tooling/documentation.</li></ul>
