The position is ideal for someone who combines high-level planning with hands-on execution in a detail-focused services environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Direct the overall marketing and business development function, including planning, budget oversight, external partners, and day-to-day department leadership.</li><li>Collaborate with firm leadership and attorneys to shape and implement growth strategies that align with practice priorities and client needs.</li><li>Coach attorneys on relationship development, cross-selling, networking, and growing their individual books of business.</li><li>Direct the firm’s brand and communications strategy, including PR, digital marketing, website, social media, thought leadership, rankings, awards, sponsorships, and advertising.</li><li>Oversee submissions for industry rankings, awards, and recognitions while maintaining strong supporting materials and deadlines.</li><li>Lead the development of marketing assets such as attorney biographies, practice descriptions, pitch materials, and client-facing collateral.</li><li>Plan and supervise conferences, sponsorships, client events, and other visibility initiatives that support relationship building and brand awareness.</li><li>Build strong internal partnerships during the first several months by learning the firm’s practice groups, attorney goals, and business development priorities across offices.</li></ul>
