This position is ideal for an individual with a strong background in construction accounting and a proactive approach to managing complex financial tasks.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Prepare and analyze monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports to ensure accuracy.</p><p>• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, delivering timely and precise financial statements.</p><p>• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, with a focus on construction job cost accounting.</p><p>• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes, ensuring operational accuracy.</p><p>• Collaborate closely with project managers to track job costing, work-in-progress schedules, and conduct variance analyses.</p><p>• Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives, providing critical financial insights.</p><p>• Ensure adherence to industry standards and internal controls to maintain regulatory compliance.</p><p>• Assist in preparing documentation and schedules for internal and external audits.</p><p>• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy across accounting functions.</p><p>• Provide mentorship and guidance to entry-level accounting staff to foster team development.</p>
