In this role, you will design and optimize data solutions to enable seamless data transfer and management in Snowflake. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance data accessibility and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Design, develop, and implement ETL solutions to facilitate data transfer between diverse sources and Snowflake.<br>• Optimize the performance of Snowflake databases by constructing efficient data structures and utilizing indexes.<br>• Develop and maintain automated, scalable data pipelines within the Snowflake environment.<br>• Deploy and configure monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance of the Snowflake platform.<br>• Collaborate with product managers and agile teams to refine requirements and deliver solutions.<br>• Create integrations to accommodate growing data volume and complexity.<br>• Enhance data models to improve accessibility for business intelligence tools.<br>• Implement systems to ensure data quality and availability for stakeholders.<br>• Write unit and integration tests while documenting technical work.<br>• Automate testing and deployment processes in Snowflake within Azure.
Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities<br>Create and document routine processes around data (mining, dictionary, etc.)<br>Completes the gathering and cleaning processes for data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity<br>Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions<br>Uses statistical methods and techniques to help identify patterns, trends, correclations and anomalies of bank data<br>Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership, technology, sales, marketing and product teams<br>Lead the strategic design and maintenance of intelligence systems, reporting platforms, and other enhancements required to gather and analyze bank and portfolio data<br>Collaborate with other data engineers and IT professionals to optimize data collection, storage, and retrieval processes<br>Helps identify KPIs and develops metrics to track and measure bank performance<br>Maintains current knowledge of internal risk controls and loss prevention, including reporting of suspicious or unusual customer activity per Bank policy, and ensures adherence by the respective department personnel<br>Maintains current knowledge and complies with all federal and state laws and regulations and all established Bank policies and procedures, including internal audit controls related to department operations, and ensures adherence by the respective department personnel<br>Maintains current knowledge of all rules, regulations, and laws as they apply to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AML, and ensures adherence by the respective department personnel<br>Qualifications<br>QUALIFICATIONS<br><br>These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. B, Truth in Lending, FCRA, FACTA and MLA<br>• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to express ideas concisely and logically<br>• Ability to meet deadlines, work in a fast-paced environment, and perform a variety of tasks with numerous interruptions<br>• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite<br>• Ability to sit in front of a computer screen for long periods of time, which may cause visual strain<br>• Bilingual in English and Spanish is desired
