Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware. • Take responsibility for projects and solutions within the larger business initiative. • Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration. • Analyze departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions. • Ensure network components work together seamlessly to meet business needs, using their full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitor solutions. • Analyze processes, technologies, and vendors continually to find areas for improvement. • Prepare cost–benefit analyses when upgrades are necessary, and monitor vendors to ensure that they are offering the best possible service and value for business needs. • Train employees to use software and hardware; troubleshoot issues and provide technical support when needed. • Mentors, interviews, hires, trains, reviews, supervises, and discipline employees. • Develop and execute disaster planning and maintain data backups. • Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization • Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget • Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement • Develop and implement policies related to network security, disaster recovery, and IT infrastructure. • Analyze resource utilization and develop strategies to optimize performance. • Establish, measure, and define IT goals and maintain an IT roadmap. • Monitor and analyze the success of IT initiatives and projects and continually develop and evaluate new technologies and tools for the company. • Establish a security policy to protect company information and resources. Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or a related field.
