This pivotal role ensures accurate financial management and reporting across multiple construction projects and will work closely with our project teams to drive efficiency and transparency.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare monthly job cost billings for projects.</li><li>Review and verify the accuracy of job cost invoices and ensure timely input/coding for optimal billing outcomes.</li><li>Coordinate with the Site Division to ensure internal contracts, employee hours, and machine run times are billed accurately and on schedule.</li><li>Collaborate closely with Project Managers to analyze and record job change orders, savings, and overages for monthly management review.</li><li>Identify and communicate job cost variances to management, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.</li><li>Prepare monthly cost and debt analysis reports for management.</li><li>Maintain the Accounts Receivable Aging Schedule, assist in collections, and provide monthly reporting.</li><li>Oversee the job closeout process and ensure all cost categories are reconciled.</li></ul><p><br></p>
<p>We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This is a long-term contract role position. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills and a solid understanding of financial principles, with experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and journal entries.
