<p>My client is a well-established, highly profitable $300 million dollar + privately held apparel wholesaler located in NYC. They have been in acquisition mode adding some impressive companies and brands into the umbrella.</p><p> </p><p>The Controller is looking for an exceptional Analyst to join the team, this is a net new position due to growth and/acquisitions. </p><p> </p><p>This role is a blend of financial analysis and some accounting, leaning more to an analyst foundational role.</p><p> </p><p>The Controller is open to the following backgrounds out of the wholesale apparel/shoe/accessories space.</p><p> </p><ul><li>An analyst that is open to doing some accounting</li><li>An accountant with some finance exposure </li></ul><p> </p><p>As always, this is a permanent, full time, fully benefited salaried position (this is NOT a temp role or temp to perm).</p><p> </p><p>They are located in midtown and the role will be 3-4 days onsite.</p><p> </p><p>Compensation Package based on experience:</p><p>Base: $70 - $80k base + discretionary bonus</p><p> </p><p>The role will cover:</p><ul><li>Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.</li><li>Prepare reports and analyses related to revenue, receivables, and cash flow.</li><li>Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances.</li><li>Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.</li><li>Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.</li><li>Review and prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy.</li><li>Have 12x product lines, 100+ different divisions</li></ul><p> </p><p>Who are you?</p><ul><li>MUST have experience within the product based sector, ideally wholesale/apparel/accessories </li><li>A minimum of a BA/BS in finance or accounting from a top accredited school</li><li>1+ years of experience. </li></ul><p> </p><p>Exceptional communications skills are required. A great dynamic personality and the ability to work along your fellow colleagues is crucial.
