Responsibilities: • Advise the product team on how Florida residential property tax appeal rules are applied in practice, translating statutory and procedural requirements into usable product guidance. • Explain operational differences among high-volume Florida counties, including how local property appraiser offices and value adjustment boards may vary in their processes and expectations. • Guide the design of filing workflows by outlining key deadlines, notice timing, required forms, submission methods, and payment-related compliance steps. • Help structure hearing preparation features that reflect successful appeal strategies, including evidence timing, comparable property analysis, and property condition arguments. • Review customer and backend authorization flows to identify legal or procedural issues before release to production. • Spot potential process risks and edge cases by drawing on extensive experience across a large number of residential parcels and appeal scenarios. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine filing logic and user pathways so the product aligns with actual appeal practices in Florida. • Provide ongoing subject matter insight on petition handling and adjudicative expectations relevant to special magistrate proceedings.
