<p>We are looking for a skilled Technical Accounting Manager to join our client's team on a contract basis in Montgomery, Alabama. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to key financial projects, including improving forecasting capabilities and refining revenue recognition processes. As part of this role, you will play a critical role in analyzing and documenting complex accounting matters while helping optimize the use of financial systems.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Enhance financial forecasting methods to support accurate and reliable projections.</p><p>• Oversee the transition of revenue recognition practices from an over-time model to a point-in-time approach.</p><p>• Develop detailed position papers addressing corrections needed for balance sheet items.</p><p>• Prepare comprehensive documentation for capitalization of an internally developed product.</p><p>• Evaluate and recommend improvements for utilizing Microsoft Dynamics 365, including potential implementation of new modules.</p><p>• Support month-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.</p><p>• Perform general ledger reviews and ensure proper account reconciliations.</p><p>• Assist with financial statement audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.</p><p>• Review and post journal entries to maintain the integrity of financial records.</p><p>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on accounting processes and system utilization.</p>
