  • <p>We are seeking a experienced Veeam Administrator to lead the optimization and resilience of our enterprise backup and recovery infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, security, and recoverability of systems, including Active Directory, databases, and virtualized environments. You will assess, reconfigure, and enhance our Veeam environment, implement best practices for hardened repositories and immutability, and deliver robust recovery procedures and documentation. </p><p> Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li> Assess and validate the current Veeam infrastructure: repositories, proxies, backup jobs, replication, and retention policies. </li><li>Reestablish and optimize backup and recovery configurations for critical systems (Windows/Linux servers, AD, SQL, file servers). </li><li>Implement Veeam best practices for hardened repositories, immutability, and offsite/air-gapped backups. </li><li>Test and document recovery procedures (single-file, VM-level, application-aware).</li><li>Monitor and report on backup job health; remediate failures and gaps. </li><li>Train internal staff and deliver runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge transfer sessions. </li><li>Deliverables Backup and recovery validation report with actionable recommendations. </li><li>Hardened Veeam configuration with immutability and offsite strategy. </li><li>Documented recovery procedures and runbooks. </li><li>Daily/weekly reporting dashboards for job health and performance.
