The Sr. Accountant will oversee the month-end close process for designated operating areas, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance with internal policies and procedures. This role will also involve account reconciliations, journal entry postings, financial analysis, and other assigned projects.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br><br>• Oversee the month-end close process for designated operating areas, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies<br>• Prepare and record journal entries on a monthly basis<br>• Carry out detailed account reconciliations<br>• Analyze revenue and expense variances to ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting entries<br>• Generate management reports utilizing financial and statistical data<br>• Ensure adherence to GAAP and internal policies and procedures<br>• Provide assistance to internal and external auditors<br>• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities<br>• Undertake various projects as requested<br>• Offer support to customers and internal stakeholders with revenue and accounting inquiries<br>• Drive process improvements to streamline operations.
