The ideal candidate will have experience working within NetSuite or SAP, strong month-end close experience, and exposure to inventory and cost accounting. This is a contract to hire position with on a growing tream.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations as part of the monthly close process.</li><li>Perform detailed balance sheet and bank reconciliations.</li><li>Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management reporting packages.</li><li>Support inventory accounting activities, including inventory reconciliations and cycle count reviews.</li><li>Analyze inventory, purchasing, and manufacturing variances and investigate discrepancies.</li><li>Monitor inventory transactions and ensure accurate recording within NetSuite or SAP.</li><li>Assist with cost accounting activities, including product costing and cost of goods sold analysis.</li><li>Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure proper accounting treatment of manufacturing transactions.</li><li>Support annual audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests.</li><li>Maintain compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls.</li><li>Assist with process improvements and ERP optimization initiatives.</li></ul><p><br></p>

This role supports core accounting operations by ensuring accurate financial records, strong receivables oversight, and timely reporting across multiple areas of the business. The ideal candidate brings solid general ledger experience, sound judgment in reviewing transactions, and the ability to contribute to monthly and quarterly financial processes.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Conduct audits of electronic attendance records and resolve discrepancies to support accurate reporting.<br>• Prepare and submit required state filings and assist with quarterly compliance reporting.<br>• Maintain inventory subledger accuracy and reconcile balances to the general ledger.<br>• Review and approve accounts receivable activity, aging reports, cash receipts, and related journal entries for completeness and accuracy.<br>• Oversee parent fee deposits, write-offs, collections processing, and associated accounting entries.<br>• Verify provider billing and payment activity against contract terms and approved invoice requirements.<br>• Reconcile prepaid expenses, bank accounts, and receivables schedules as part of the monthly close process.<br>• Record fixed asset depreciation, maintain supporting schedules, and contribute to monthly financial statement preparation.<br>• Analyze budget-to-actual results for assigned programs and identify notable variances.<br>• Support staff oversight by assisting with training, guidance, and day-to-day review of accounting work.
