This role reports to the Vice President of Finance and plays a central part in maintaining accurate records, delivering meaningful financial reporting, and supporting sound business decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, a solid command of accounting processes, and the ability to improve efficiency across budgeting, reporting, and day-to-day financial management.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Lead the month-end and year-end close activities, including oversight of the general ledger, reconciliations, and intercompany accounting across a portfolio of related entities.</p><p>• Prepare and review financial reports that highlight operating results, cash positions, cost performance, and profit or loss trends for leadership review.</p><p>• Ensure the integrity of accounting records by monitoring transactions, validating balances, and maintaining accurate financial and operational documentation.</p><p>• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting activities by consolidating financial inputs, updating planning data in systems, and explaining notable variances.</p><p>• Partner with senior leadership to evaluate financial performance, identify opportunities to use resources more effectively, and strengthen internal controls.</p><p>• Provide analysis of historical and current financial information to support planning, decision-making, and performance discussions with management.</p><p>• Supervise and develop a team of four accounting professionals, setting priorities, reviewing work, and supporting ongoing growth and accountability.</p><p>• Recommend process improvements that enhance reporting quality, operational efficiency, and overall financial oversight.</p>

This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who brings strong attention to detail, sound judgment in account coding, and confidence handling vendor payments through multiple methods. The person in this role will help maintain accurate financial records, ensure timely disbursements, and contribute to a smooth end-to-end accounts payable process.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process vendor invoices accurately and promptly while reviewing documentation for completeness and compliance.<br>• Assign proper general ledger coding to invoices and expense items to support accurate financial reporting.<br>• Perform three-way matching by validating invoices against purchase orders and receiving records before payment approval.<br>• Prepare and execute ACH transactions and check runs in accordance with established payment schedules.<br>• Investigate invoice discrepancies, resolve payment issues, and communicate with internal teams or vendors as needed.<br>• Maintain organized accounts payable records and ensure supporting documents are properly filed for audit readiness.<br>• Monitor outstanding payables and help ensure all approved obligations are paid within required timelines.
