Our client, a public company, is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager to support key corporate accounting and financial reporting functions. This role will be actively involved in the close process, financial statement preparation, general ledger activity, reconciliations, and assistance with SEC filings. The position will also provide oversight to members of the accounting team. The ideal candidate will have strong public company accounting experience, be comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment, and be willing to work heavy hours during close. This is a fully in-office role. CPA in process or active license is required. Great Plains or Dynamics experience is preferred.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage and participate in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.</li><li>Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules.</li><li>Post and review general ledger entries and maintain accurate account activity.</li><li>Perform and review account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.</li><li>Assist with the preparation and support of SEC filings, including quarterly and annual reporting requirements.</li><li>Provide oversight, guidance, and support to members of the accounting team.</li><li>Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies.</li><li>Work closely with internal departments and external auditors to support reporting and audit needs.</li><li>Help improve accounting processes, reporting efficiency, and documentation.</li><li>Utilize Great Plains or Dynamics to support accounting operations and reporting.</li></ul>Please send your resume to Molly Waldman. We are looking for an experienced Director of Finance to lead the financial strategy and day-to-day accounting function for a multi-revenue club operation in Palm Coast, Florida. This position oversees fiscal reporting, internal controls, budgeting, and long-range financial planning while serving as a key advisor to operational leaders and executive stakeholders. The role combines hands-on oversight of core accounting activities with forward-looking analysis that supports sound decision-making, sustainable growth, and strong financial stewardship.
