  • We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Controller to oversee the financial operations of a thriving real estate, private equity, and management organization based in Greenville, South Carolina. The successful candidate will play an integral role in managing the financial performance of a diverse portfolio that includes commercial properties, multi-family units, self-storage facilities, and fitness studios. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical abilities, and a collaborative approach to leadership.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Lead the financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, and sales processes, to ensure organizational profitability and growth.<br>• Manage and review budgets across multiple entities, conducting monthly assessments with management teams.<br>• Oversee daily cash flow, process fund transfers, and ensure timely invoice payments.<br>• Administer and distribute 1099 forms while managing corporate insurance policies and renewals.<br>• Prepare financial projections, pro forma analyses, and investment deal points to guide decision-making.<br>• Conduct due diligence for acquisitions, mergers, and new development opportunities.<br>• Support general managers with ongoing budget guidance and accountability for financial performance.<br>• Review and approve monthly financial reconciliations, action plans, and budget-to-actual reports.<br>• Process investor payments, contractor invoices, and project pay applications in a timely manner.<br>• Ensure tax-efficient structuring of deals and lead annual tax planning for the parent company and subsidiaries.
